Bio
DaVanta is the Assistant Director for Leadership Development and Global Engagement. He is responsible for the comprehensive leadership development programs for students, including coordinating the Emerging Leaders Institute, Sophomore Changemakers Program, leadership training, in addition to the development, promotion, implementation, and assessment of the Alternative Break Program.
Davanta joined AU in June 2022, previously serving as the Assistant Director for Student Involvement, where he provided support to both undergraduate and graduate club leaders while directly advising the AU Club and Graduate Leadership Councils. Davanta has a host of experience in student programming, organizations, leadership development, teaching, advising, and student success.
In his spare time, he enjoys running, sending funny videos to friends, having a good meal and listening to music/attending concerts.
