Bio
Dr. Shatina Williams (she/her) is a licensed psychologist in the District of Columbia. Before her joining the AU team, Dr. Williams completed her APA-accredited internship at our very own Â鶹´«Ã½ and served as a postdoctoral fellow at an integrated health care agency in Baltimore, MD. She has worked with children, adolescents, and adults in residential, community mental health, integrated health care, and university counseling settings. Her special interests include community and interpersonal trauma, effects of racism and sexism on identity and identity-related experiences, racial and gender identity, exercise and healthy eating, and experiences of students of Color and first-generation college students. Her therapeutic approach is integrative with special consideration to relational-cultural psychotherapy.
