President: Karla Cruz
Karla is currently a 3L from Orlando, Florida. She attended the University of Central Florida where she earned a bachelor’s in political science, a minor in mass communication, and a certificate in intelligence and national security. Karla is currently a Student Attorney with the Gender Justice Clinic and a member of the Sports and Entertainment Law Society. She is interested in sports and entertainment law with a particular interest in player’s rights. Karla likes to hang out with friends and watch movies.
Vice PresidenT: Manuel Alcantar-Robles
Manuel is a 3L originally from Fresno, California. He attended the University of California Los Angeles where he earned his bachelor’s in political science and history (go Bruins!). Manuel is a Senior Tech Editor for the Â鶹´«Ã½ Law Review and a Research Assistant for AUWCL’s Dean Emeritus and Professor Claudio Grossman. He is currently interested in international trade, tax, and employment law. Manuel enjoys watching football and soccer with friends as well as exploring new restaurants in DC.
Secretary: Dalia Wrocherinsky
Dalia is a 2L from New York City, New York. She attended Vanderbilt University where she earned her bachelor’s in Public Policy. She is a Junior Staffer for the Â鶹´«Ã½ Business Law Review and is the Vice President of the Communications and Media Law Society, and she is also a member of the Technology, Law and Security Society. She has an interest in privacy and technology law and its intersections with emerging technologies. She enjoys listening to podcasts, going to concerts, hiking, and watching soccer.
Treasurer: Marimar Seda-Alvarez
Marimar (Mari) is a 2L born in Ponce, Puerto Rico, but grew up in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. She attended the University of Central Florida where she earned her bachelor’s in legal studies, a minor in general business and Spanish, and a certificate in Spanish translation in the legal world. Mari is currently a Dean’s Fellow with the Immigrant Justice Clinic, a Senior Article Editor for the Arbitration Brief, and a member of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Honor Society. Mari is currently interested in business immigration and mergers and acquisitions. She enjoys baking and trying out new restaurants and cafes.

Jaxzia is a 2L from Miami, Florida. She attended Mount Holyoke College on a Posse scholarship where she earned her bachelor’s in Politics, a minor in Latina Studies, and a certificate in Law, Public Policy, and Human Rights. She is a Junior Staffer for the Â鶹´«Ã½ Journal of Gender, Social Policy, & the Law and a Dean’s Fellow for the Civil Advocacy Clinic. She is interested in criminal law and financial regulations. During her free time, Jaxzia likes to read, watch movies, and spend time with her dog.

Vanessa is an evening 2L from Maryland. She attended Towson University where she earned a bachelor’s in psychology. Vanessa is a Junior Staffer for the Â鶹´«Ã½ Law Review and a full-time Family Law Paralegal. She is interested in litigation and juvenile justice. She enjoys all types of music, traveling to new places, and spending time with friends and family.

Community Service Chair: Melannie SandovalÌý
Melannie is a 2L from Miami, Florida. She attended the University of Florida where she earned her bachelor’s in political science and criminology and a minor in Spanish. Melannie is a junior staffer for the Â鶹´«Ã½ Business Law Review. Melannie is currently interested in exploring corporate law, education law, and regulatory compliance. Melannie likes to try out new recipes, play volleyball, explore the city with her dog, and volunteer in the community.
Public Relations Chair: Natalie RodriguezÌý
Natalie is a 2L from Miami, Florida. She attended Hamilton College where she earned her bachelor’s in government and a minor in French. She is participating in the Lawyering Peace program and working in the Pence Law Library. Natalie is a member of the International Law Student Association, the International Trade and Investment Law Society, and the European Law Association. She is interested in exploring human rights law and international law, including trade and arbitration. Natalie enjoys traveling, dancing, playing tennis, and spending time with her family and friends.

Benin is a 3L JD/MA student from Columbus, Ohio. He attended Andrews University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in political science and Spanish. Benin is a Member of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Honor Society, the Black Law Student Association, and the International Trade Law Association. He is also a staffer for the Arbitration Brief. Benin is interested in international trade and human rights law and has worked as a Research Assistant for Professor Diane Orentlicher. Benin likes to hike, make music, and enjoys playing and watching sports.

Miguel is a 3L born in Caracas, Venezuela, and grew up in Miami, Florida. He attended the University of Florida where he earned a bachelor’s in political science. Miguel is currently the Editor-in-Chief of the Intellectual Property Brief. He has worked for Privacy Across Borders as a Research Assistant and the Disability Rights Law Clinic as a Dean's Fellow. Miguel also served as a Teaching Fellow for the Marshall Brennan Constitutional Literacy Project. He is interested in litigation, technology law, and disability rights law.
